Playgroup and Picnic Lunches
ACC PLAYGROUP to July 2010
Everyone is welcome!
The playgroup is generally held on the first Wednesday of each month commencing at 10.00 am. This date may change when school holidays fall in the same month as we try to have a playgroup each school holidays.
If a playgroup is being hosted by a family then please bring along a plate of goodies for the generous host and if possible telephone them and let them know you will be attending and what you will be bringing with you. If the playgroup is held in a park or at a play centre, then we are all self sufficient. Should it rain on a then please do not hesitate to contact me to find out if an alternative arrangement has been made.
I have found the group to be a wonderful support network and have made some life long friends. I look forward to each group gathering as do my children. We really enjoy meeting and welcoming new families to our group so please come along and join us! If anybody is interested in hosting a playgroup at their homes please advise me.
Set out below are the upcoming dates for the ACC playgroup to Dec 2010.
17 February - Greenwich Baths
Albert Street, Greenwich. - It is a lovely
place with a beach and a nice cafe. It is very child friendly, they
have their own plastic beach toys, tables and chairs, etc. It costs
just a few dollars to get in. Remember the cosies, towels, hats and
blockout.

track and a fenced harbour swimming area.
5 May - Winneremery Bay
(Flying Fox Park on the shore of the Pittwater)

This is a wonderful park that is fenced and has a large bike track, a large

The parking is limited you may need to park in a nearby street.

The parking area for the playground is just at the end of Victoria Avenue, you can't miss it. There is also a way via Concord but it is a little tricky.
There are toilets and swings, and a bike track so bring along the
bikes but unfortunately there is no café so you need to be self sufficient

PICNICS
The ACC bi-annual picnics are changing in 2010!
We are going to try a new format this year.
Picnics will be held in a park and each family can bring their own picnic lunch and drinks.
There won't be a cost but families and individuals are asked to make a donation to support ACC's work
and to contribute to any activities or entertainment which may arranged for children.
A suggested amount of $20 per family would be greatly appreciated.
